Mid Century Ultra California Vernonware Covered Sugar Bowl in Carnation Pink

Sorry, this item has sold.

Pretty please with sugar!

This lovely mid century ceramic covered sugar bowl is part of a collection of dinnerware called "Ultra California" produced in the 1940's. It has the unique "Ultra" upside down handle designed by Jane Bennison, daughter of Faye Bennison, who was head of the company. Authentic Vernonware.

The sugar bowl stands 3 1/4" high and is 6" wide from handle to handle. No chips or cracks but there are manufacturer irregularities in the glaze as seen in the photo. Also a few small scratches on the bowl rim. The lid is slighty deeper in color than the bowl as seen in the photos. Made in California, USA by Vernon Potteries, LTD.
