So small but so stunning - a mid century polished clear black and clear cased glass art-object. We believe this is the Kastanja or Chestnut model designed by Kaj Franck in the early 1950's and executed by the Nuutajärvi-Notsjö glassworks circa 1960 - 1969. Mold blown glass.
It measures 2 3/4" long by 2 1/2" wide. It stands 1 1/4" high. No chips or cracks. A few small scratches on the bottom but otherwise in good vintage condition. Made in Finland. Signed on the bottom.
