Vintage Dream Catcher by Native American Artist Linda Brown

$48.00

Dream catchers have a beautiful story behind them. They are created by Native Americans and in times past they were hung by the windows where they slept to catch all dreams. Bad dreams would get snared up in the webbing and be held until daylight where they would burn off. Good dreams were caught too but they knew to escape in the hole in the center of the dream catcher and drift down to the feathers to be held for another night.

On this beautiful vintage dream catcher, the feathers are not eagle as those are considered sacred. The hoop is wrapped in thin strips of leather and the feathers are attached with hand crimped metal clips. We have left the tag on for provenance.

This hoop is 4" in diameter and the total length is 13" from the top of the hanger to the tip on the longest feather. Handmade by Native American artist, Linda Brown.
