Mid Century Gold Hobnail Glass Vase by Pilgrim Glass Company

Incredible mid century hobnail or seed pod glass vase in a yellow gold color with a four point pinched opening. We love the nubby feel of its surface. Manufactured by The Pilgrim Glass Corporation which was founded in 1949 by Alfred Knobler, this piece has the design influence of the Italian glass designer brothers, Alessandro and Roberto Moretti that Knogler hired, one of whom apprenticed at Murano glass factories.

Handblown with a pontil mark on the bottom. No chips or cracks. One small check mark shaped scratch on the lip.

This golden beauty stands 7" high and 3 3/4" approximately at its widest point.
