What a kitschy kitten! This fab vintage ceramic cookie jar is in the shape of a white cat called Katy. Designed for the Poppytrail artware line, this cutie was manufactured in the '70's for Metlox Potteries in Manhattan Beach, CA.
She stands 10 3/4" high with the lid on and is 8 3/8" wide by approximately 8 1/4" deep. The opening is 5 1/4" wide. Very clean on the inside. No chips or cracks. Some crazing in the glaze. One manufacturer flaw in the shape of a small bump up on the ear. Otherwise in good vintage condition. Stamped "Metlox CALIF USA" on the bottom.
