Mid Century Boxed Set of Four Teak and Bamboo Coasters by Jens Quistgaard for Dansk

This set of four mid century wood coasters will protect your coffee table from those icy cocktails you're serving up. Designed by Jens Quistgaard in the 1960's, these coasters are unique in that they combine six bamboo inlay pieces with the teak frame. Small little masterpieces. Wait. Maybe we don't want you to put your drinks on them...

Each coaster measures 4 1/4" by 3 5/8" by 5/16" and are in excellent vintage condition. Stamped on the bottom with the 4 ducks logo and "Dansk Designs Denmark JHQ". Made in Denmark. They come in the original box which does show a bit of wear.

Helpful hint to keep the wood looking nice - dust off and condition them with bit of butcher block oil often using a soft cloth.
