A unique vintage enameled plate by Marjorie Sawyer with Asian calligraphy in textured black. Bright orange with a blueish white rim and the best edge on an enameled plate we have seen - beaded and crimped in an irregular pattern.
It is 9 3/4" in diameter by 1 1/4" high. Some small scratches and scuff marks on the interior but otherwise in good vintage condition. Back signed "Marjorie Sawyer". Partial label but originally reads - "Color on Copper Enameling by Marjorie Sawyer, Pasadena, California".
