I am going to become Queen of the Monkeypod. I love vintage mid century monkeypod wood trays and bowls and I keep collecting them. They go with a range of styles from that era - to the kitschy Kawaii look to the clean simple Eames style. Lightweight yet sturdy, monkeypod trays always come in handy. This small bowl is shaped like the leaf of a tropical plant. In excellent vintage condition.
It would make a nice hostess gift - for that gal you're trying to impress.

Helpful hint to keep the wood looking nice - don't wash with soap, just rinse with water and condition it with something like Jasco Butcher Block Oil after drying.
