Deer me! A unique and unusual home decor piece, this large vintage carved and painted wood decorative bowl has a light transparent varnish with a black stylized scene of two playful deer and a tree. I'd love to know its provenance. Some spots where the varnish/paint has lifted - see photo 5- and a small crack on the bottom- see photo 3.
16 3/8" long and 11 5/8"at its widest point. It stands 3 3/4" high.
