This gorgeous gem of a vintage jewelry box is a beautiful example of Japanese lacquerware. Made for Otagiri, it doubles as a music box playing "Für Elise" by Ludwig van Beethoven when the lid is opened. In a mottled teal color that we are loving.
The box measures 7 5/8" long by 5" deep by 2 3/4" high. A few small scuff marks but overall in very good vintage condition.
