Beautiful vintage lacquerware tea tray with a hand painted rooster design. Black with gold trim and accents. Originally to hold a tea set, we see it being used now as a perfume tray.
The tray measures 12" long by 8 1/2" wide by 3/4" high. This tray has some damage - see chips in the trim at two corners as seen in the photos. The black lacquer finish is showing wear due to age but overall a lovely functional piece. Made in Japan.
