Mid Century Egyptian Revival Mauve Ewer Pitcher

Mid century modern pitcher possibly a wine server was created in the 1940's to 1950's. With an elongated sculptural handle and a deep pink or mauve satin glaze, this ceramic piece is as functional as it is attractive. Attributed to UHL Pottery, known for their elegant pieces inspired by classical and Egyptian motifs.

It stands at 9 1/2" high and is 3 1/2" wide at the mouth including the spout and handle. Etched on the bottom - "From Lucca's Restaurant Los Angeles Made in the USA".
