Forks over knives.
Before we used plastic, folks carried their own eating utensils. This unique beautifully crafted set slides into the other's handle creating a flat safe transportable fork and knife. Great for picnics or lunches on the go. Eco friendly and retro chic. Due to age it is a bit fragile so be gentle when using. Some wear on the metal casing on the wood handle as seen in photo 4 and the wood on the handles gets very dry so make sure you have butcher block oil on hand. Small crack in the wood as seen in photo 3. Makers mark stamped on the back of the "H. A. Mack Boston Mass Italy".
H. A. Mack is a company that was founded in 1931 and still exists as a resource for superior quality kitchenware.
Please don't wash this set with soap and never put them in the dishwasher. Rinse with water, dry by hand and condition them with butcher block oil after drying.
