Mid Century Dansk Staved Teak Wood Salad Bowl

This large staved teak wood salad serving bowl was designed by Jens Harald Quistgaard for Dansk. Large open form with groove around the side for easy grasping. It has the 4 Ducks Dansk Designs mark on bottom. Made in Denmark.

In very good vintage condition, with no cracks or chips. It doesn't appear to have been used much. A few scratches on the interior bottom. The bowl measures 10 3/4" wide and 4 1/2" high. Salad servers not included.

Helpful hint to keep your wood items looking good - just rinse with water and don't use soap. Condition them after drying with butcher block oil or a food grade mineral oil by rubbing a small amount into the grain of the wood with a soft clean cloth.
