We never thought monkey pod could look so good.

This wood bowl hand carved by Christian Martinus Sorensen, an incredibly talented mid-20th century Hawaiian woodworker, is an outstanding piece of artisanship. We love the detail in the texture on the sides, something we haven't seen on other monkey pod pieces. The piece also shows off the attractive grain and the natural golden hues of the wood.

The bowl measures 13 1/2" long by 6" at its widest by 3 3/4" high.

Helpful hint to keep the wood looking nice - wipe with damp cloth, then after drying, condition it with a small amount of butcher block oil.
