Pair of Mid Century Carved Monkey Pod Fish by Woodpecker Woodware

Better fish to fry? Not with these lovelies.

A pair of great looking mid century hand carved tropical fish. Made from monkey pod wood by Woodpecker Woodware in Japan, they look good with tiki decor or a retro 1950's mad men kind of style. One small chip on the backside fin of the longer fish has seen in the photo. Otherwise in good vintage condition.

The shorter fish measures 10" long and 12" high. The longer fish measures 15" in length and 6 1/2" in height. They both are a 1/2' thick.

Recommended cleaning - Dust off with a soft cloth and if the wood looks dry use a small amount of butcher block oil on a cloth and wipe into the grain of the wood.
