Vintage Hand Carved Wooden Spoon with Indigenous Male Figure Design

This spoon spoke to us with its rustic hand carved bowl shape, the meticulous carving and stipple work on the handle and the clever back detail. If you look closely you can see a man's face stippled on the top of the handle. We think it would look amazing displayed on the kitchen wall on its own or with a grouping of other wooden utensils.

It measures 7 1/2" in length and is 2 1/2" across the bowl of the spoon.

Helpful hint to keep the wood looking nice - don't wash with soap, just use a damp clean cloth and condition it with a little butcher block oil after drying.
