So much about this crazy little vintage tea set that puzzles us but makes us smile.
With a hand painted scenario featuring a Mexican man next to a cactus walking towards a sign to Hollywood on each the pieces, this tea set has us stumped. Curiously the set was made in Japan. If any vintage aficionados know more about this please let me know. It's a great holiday gift for that special kid on your list. Teapot with lid, tea cup and saucer included.
No chips or cracks. Dark spot on the inside of teapot and one very small manufacturer flaw on saucer as seen in photos otherwise in good vintage condition.
The teapot stands 4 1/2" high with the lid on, 5" wide from spout to handle and 2 1/4" deep. The tea cup is 3 3/8" wide and 1 3/4" high. The saucer is 4" wide and 1/2" high.
Made in Japan.
